Stephen Lives

After his suicide, 15-year old Stephen writes to his mother to help her feel better. She receives some comfort, and presunably profit from the book sale, as well. It's a sad book. My son died of suicide, I grieve and look for comfort; I wasn't comforted by this book. We each find comfort in our own way and believe what we need to believe to make sense of our world. If the writing of this book helped Anne Puryear through her hell, then I'm okay with that.
