A biography about the life of the famous author. I love her books but this biography was okay. This book could be used when doing author studies with older students. ( )

This biography of contemporary author, Amy Tan, is good source for the middle school aged student to gain some knowledge and insight about the life Amy lives as an Asian American writer. The text is written in a kid friendly voice, and there are sidebars of special information throughout. Lots of pictures are included. This is formatted for kid-friendliness. ( )
